HubZip gives you two quoting apps: TubeQuote for laser-cut tube and FlatQuote for laser-cut sheet parts. You can take one app or both together as a bundle.

- Monthly plans have no minimum term.
- Yearly plans are paid in advance and cost the same as ten months.
- With a bundle, one subscription covers both apps.
Step 1: Log in
- Open the web address HubZip gave you for your shop.
- On Log in to your shop, enter your Email and Password, then press Log in.
Step 2: Find your way around
The menu on the left has:
- Dashboard, New quote, Quotes, Orders, Archive, Customers and Zip Manager.
- A Settings group you can open and close. It holds Machine & cutting (FlatQuote) or Machine settings (TubeQuote), Sheets & materials (FlatQuote) or Materials & stock (TubeQuote), Etching, Secondary processes, Sales settings, Shipping, Web storefront, Accounting, Customer notifications, Webhooks, Users & permissions and Plan & billing.
Each person only sees the pages their permissions allow.
Your name, shop name and role appear at the bottom left, along with Log out, Help & support and 2-step login.
Step 3: Turn on 2-step login (recommended)
- At the bottom left, click 2-step login.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password.
- Type the 6-digit code it shows and press Switch on.
From then on, you'll be asked for a code each time you log in.
Step 4: Add your team
- Go to Settings > Users & permissions.
- Under Add a user, enter their name, email and a password, and choose a role: Staff or Owner.
- Press Add user.
No email is sent to the new user, so pass on their login details yourself.
New staff can create and send quotes, view Zip Manager and move jobs from the start. Tick more permissions in their row and press Save to give them more.
Permissions
Owners always have every permission. For everyone else, you can tick:
- Create, send & mark quotes accepted
- See material costs, rates, margins & cost breakdowns. Without this, cost figures are hidden, along with the Sheets & materials, Etching and Secondary processes pages.
- Edit machine, cutting, materials & sales settings
- Manage shipping rates
- Export invoices to accounting
- Manage users & permissions
- Manage the web storefront
- View Zip Manager, Zip Manager: move jobs & record progress and Zip Manager: edit jobs, due dates & stages
- See reports & export quotes
- Export nests & laser DXF files (FlatQuote only)
In the same table you can also:
- untick Active to stop someone logging in
- reset a person's password
- switch off someone's 2-step login if they lose their phone
